Many of us feel powerless as electricity bills rise. We think the best chapter of this fight is just beginning, because the technology we spent decades fighting for has finally arrived and increasingly costs less than the fossil fuel alternative.
The hard part is done. The organizing is not.
So why don't we have it yet? Because the path to these products is still clogged with red tape written for a world that no longer exists, and because no one has organized the people who would benefit most into a force big enough to clear it.
That is the work. We save a growing membership real money by getting them the products that fight global warming and lower their bills at the same time, then turn that membership into a policy-winning machine. We have already proven the model in 10 states, with legislation introduced in 35. Now imagine that engine with millions of members behind it.
